Farmer's style beef stew

kcalThis German dish is similar to the typical farmer's pot with ground beef. But only similar, because my recipe is with delicious beef. Juicy beef goulash or a delicious beef brisket. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 500 g
beef goulash or beef brisket – diced
- 1
onion – diced
- 1/2
leek – cut into rings
- 3
carrots – sliced
- 1
red pepper – diced
- 4
potatoes – diced
- 100 g
celery – diced
- 1 can
of corn
- 1 can
of sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp
tomato paste
- 2 tbsp
pepper paste
- 1 1/2 liters
water
- 2 tbsp
beef stock powder
- 1 tsp
ground cumin
- 1 tbsp
marjoram
- 1 tbsp
parsley
salt and pepper
Preparation:
Put the water in a saucepan and cook it with the beef on a medium-high level for about 45 minutes.
Add the vegetables, everything except the mushrooms and corn, to the pot and season it with all the spices. Cook everything together at low temperature for another 30 minutes.
Finally, mix in the corn and mushrooms and leave the stew to stand for another 15 minutes. And the delicious beef stew is ready.
Tip:
- If you want to stick with the classic version with minced meat, you can also replace the beef goulash or brisket with minced meat.
