kcalNothing for calorie counters! It doesn't matter which pork ribs - with marinade, they are all high in calories, but you just have to be able to treat yourself every now and then. My marinade is simply delicious. Feel free to try them out.
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces
of pork ribs – approx. 500g / piece
- 400 ml
water
- 4 tbsp
ketchup
- 4 tbsp
honey
- 4 tbsp
brown sugar
- 2 tbsp
medium hot mustard
- 6 tbsp
soy sauce
- 2 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp
tomato paste
- 2 tbsp
sweet paprika
salt, pepper
Preparation:
Combine all the ingredients except the ribs in a pressure cooker and bring to a boil.
In any case, taste the whole thing and season with salt and pepper to taste.
As soon as the seasoning is right and the sauce is boiling, add the ribs and let everything boil with the lid closed - until the pot whistles. (With a normal pot about 30 minutes.)
As soon as the typical pressure cooker noise comes, the stove can be set to the lowest level. Leave the pot to steep for about half an hour.
For those who don't have a pressure cooker: Instead of a pressure cooker, a normal pot with a lid will do. However, the cooking time at a medium level is about two hours.
After the cooking time, you can continue with the oven. We heat it up to 200 degrees.
The spare ribs and sauce can then be placed in a casserole dish and baked in the oven for about 45 minutes after preheating.
Depending on your wishes, you can make different side dishes, e.g. B. French fries, jacket potatoes, corn and much more. But even without a side dish, the juicy spare ribs simply taste good.
Tip:
- Cooking the spare ribs in the pot will make the ribs extra tender - remember... the longer you cook the ribs, the softer they will be.
