    Looking for a delicious recipe for Meatballs in Creamy Bell Pepper Sauce with Egg Noddles? This dish combines juicy meatballs made from a blend of ground beef and pork, crisp bell peppers and a rich cream sauce with Pasta. Perfect for a hearty family meal or a cozy dinner – and it´s easy to make!

    Ingredients:

    • For the meatballs you need:
    • 1 l (500 g)

      ground beef and pork mix

    • 1/2

      onions – diced

    • 1 tbsp

      oil

    • Salt and Pepper – to taste

    • For the pepper bell cream sauce you need:
    • 2

      red bell peppers – sliced into strips

    • 1 1/2

      onions – half rings

    • 1

      carrot – sliced

    • 4

      cloves garlic – finely chopped

    • 3/4 cup (200 ml)

      water

    • 3/4 cup (200 ml)

      heavy cream

    • 1 tbsp

      oil

    • 1 tbsp

      bouillon powder

    • 6 tbsp

      sauce thickener (or cornstarch)

    • Salt and Pepper – to taste

    • For the pasta you need:
    • 14 oz (400 g)

      Egg noodles / Band noodles

    • water for cooking

    • 1 tsp

      salt for cooking

    Preparation:

    • 1. Prepare the meatballs:

      Mix the diced half onion with the ground meat in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and form small meatballs and set it aside.

       

    • 2. Brown the meatballs:

      Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a skillet and brown the meatballs on all sides until golden. Once browned, set the meatballs aside on a plate.

       

    • 3. Cook the Egg Noodles:

      In a large pot – bring water with 1 teaspoon salt to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

       

    • 4. Sauté the Vegetables:

      While the noodles are cooking, start sautéing the vegetables. In the same skillet heat 1 more tablespoon of cooking oil. Add the onion rings and sáute for about 3 to 5 minutes. Then add the bell pepper, carrot and the garlic. Cooking it until everything is lightly browned.

       

    • 5. Make the delicious Creamy Bell Pepper Sauce:

      Season the sautéed vegetables with salt, pepper and the bouillon powder. Then stir in the sauce thickener. Add the meatballs back to the skillet and pour in the heavy cream and water. Bring it to boil and let it simmer for about 3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

       

    • 6. Serve it:

      By this time – the noodles and the sauce should be ready to the same time. Serve the noodles on a plate, top with the meatballs in creamy bell pepper sauce and enjoy your delicious meal!
