Delicious recipe: beef with gravy and onions

kcalI created this dish myself because I'm an absolute fan of Asian beef dishes. However, I've tried so many Asian sauces that I thought how about just plain gravy? Thought, done - it tastes incredibly delicious, has something special and is hardly known.
Ingredients:
- 400 g
beef (hip, fillet) – thin strips
- 400 ml
water
- 4
onions – half rings
- 1 tbsp
butter
- 2 tbsp
flour
- 1 tbsp
gravy powder / roast juice powder
salt, pepper
Preparation:
Season the beef with salt and pepper and place in a bowl with flour, mix well and leave to rest for about 5 minutes.
Fry the onions in butter until golden brown.
Add the beef to the onions, stir and fry for about 3 minutes.
Pour water over everything, stir in the gravy with a whisk and leave to simmer for about 5 minutes on a low level.
And the delicious beef with a gravy sauce is ready.
Tip:
- In addition to homemade mashed potatoes and green beans – you can also mix it with gnocchi, which you can mix directly into the pan. They are also suitable as a side dish.
