500g of spaghetti
1 tbsp butter
1 onion
200g cooked ham
200g cream
Salt and pepper
Parmesan (optional)

Cut the onion and the ham into large cubes and sauté in a pan with butter.
Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water for about 4 minutes.
When the ham and onion are well browned, season with salt and pepper, pour in the cream and bring to the boil.
Put the spaghetti straight from the pot into the pan. Mix some of the pasta water into the pan - this provides more sauce, fewer calories than cream and tastes good.
Then stir everything and leave to stand for about 2 to 3 minutes – until the pasta is al dente.
Tip
- If you like you can serve the spaghetti with some parmesan and chives.
